Quick question-

  • Fiesta V reg MK5 5 Door Zetec

  • Front heated window

  • Air conditioning

  • Alloy wheels
  • 30,000 miles

Paint and body in OK condition but there are 3-5 good places where there are major chips. Inside in good condition apart from a little spillage on a seat thats not really noticeable.

£1200

Too much im guessing right?

About £500 too much imo.

Actually, no, its a Fiesta, so its probably more like £1k over price. ;)

Is that 30k genuine though, or is it the type with the mechanical dial thats ticked over, and its actually done 130k?

In which case... adjust value accordingly ;)

Scania man is way out of touch. £700 for a V Reg Fiesta?

Price is spot on, never underestimate the demand for small cars. Prices have actually jumped up a little recently.

^ Sighted recently.... 1 Fiesta defender, known to post on teh interwebs :p

Naah, I nearly bought a Fiesta as my first car until the Merc tempted me too much...

A local garage tried to sell me a MK5 on a W plate, 78k miles, 1.25, for £800 - sounded OK until I turned up, saw the almost rotten through wheelarches, massive scratches in windscreen and almost every suspension part rusted up.

Funnily enough, 5 weeks later its still listed up on ebay.... cant think why?

There was a batch of MK5 Zetec-Ss made in 2001, they used a slightly different primer for the paint and the cars would rot, Ford would eventually have to replace the car and have the shells of the old ones crushed. Go Ford \o/
