Sure beats the £30 (would be £60 now) per MB (!) I paid when I bulit a 486 based PC in 1992. :p

To buy that amount now at 1992 prices would cost £1,966,080!

And to think some peeps whinge at today's prices :D
 
The baskets on pg 1 just go to show what you can get if you use your loaf and don't get panicked into thinking you need the best of everything. Don't go with the herd who are buying from 2PM Sunday and will be getting reamed by early adopter tax.

just be wary of that, while normally true that the 'early adopter tax' can bump prices i wouldn't be surprised to see prices actually rise slightly after release. if R3K proves as popular as it seems, once the initial stock allocations run down you could very well see price increases. i could be wrong but it's just a feeling i have.
