Ok, it seems like 320gb drives offer the best price per gigabyte right now.
I'm building a file server for myself, and have already got an 8 port SATA RAID card. Now I need the drives.
I want around 1tb (for now), so I'm gonna need a minimum of 4 drives... I'm very tempted to order 4 seagate 7200.10's which will come to around £250.
I was wondering, does anyone know if there going to be any price drops or any thing like that soon? I wonder how many people have hard drives on their Christmas list?
Maybe 400gb drives might get cheaper? Or shall I just buy the drives now, and be done with it. I can always add more drives if I need more space with this set up.
