Hi,
I was in the middle of pricing up my PC upgrade and just before I placed the order I noticed one of my prices was wrong. I then noticed ALL of them were incorrect and the prices had been increased:

Asus P6T £209.29 increased to £220.21
Corsair XMS3 6GB £97.99 increased to £103.10
Intel i7 920 OEM £229.99 increased to £241.99
Ocuz Gtx260 £149.99 increased to £157.82
Intel X25-M 80GB SSD £321.99 increased to £338.79

Was I looking at the wrong currency or did OCUK just price hike me out of an upgrade?!! I'm just miffed I've to spend an extra £50 just for taking my time to get the right kit....

Anyone else notice this?

Mike

Update: Seems the VAT rate is all screwed up. You're at 15% as far as I know but in my basket it's calculated at 21%, ?!!!!!
Not to worry - shopping basket clearly states I'm being charged 21% VAT, I live in Ireland so it must be EU export stuff etc. Think I'll try elsewhere......I hate giving money to my Government!

it's 21.5% and due to go UP in our mini-budget in 2 weeks time apparently!! OCUK have 2 VAT numbers, one for Republic of Ireland so they charge our native VAT directly. Think I'll ship it to a m8 in the North!!

the 15% was a bit of a waste really hardly any1 passed it on and just used the saving to boost profit margins or raised price slightly to compensate.Id rather they reduced income tax to 15% :)
