Price v performance build or upgrade ?

I've want to upgrade or rebuild my PC (spec in footer) for some time now but ive been holding it off till the new CPU/GPU release this year and when the upgrade / new build can be justified.


I was hoping someone with a little more knowledge could give me some advice.

Your current system isn't bad per se, but what you do will depend on your requirements, what you play/do, at what resolution etc.

There isn't really much you can upgrade on that, so if you're a typical 1080p gamer/user, I would keep the PSU and two storage devices and whatever case you have, and replace the CPU/motherboard/RAM/GPU with whatever fits your budget. You're probably looking at spending around £5-800 for a worthwhile difference.
