Prices are going crazy!

Don't be an arse. An 08 is new, if he had meant brand new then he should have said so.

I'm not being an arse, you are simply wrong - a car with 14k miles on the clock is not new. It is an ex hire car. Thats where they all come from.

You can't describe a 14,000 mile ex hire car as a new car. A new car has less than 100 miles on the clock.

Er, a new car is exactly that - new with delivery miles on it. I wouldn't class a 14,000 mile, 1 owner Vectra as a new car

Unless of you course your definition of new, is you going into Marks & Spencer, wanting to buy a new pair of underpants and expecting to get a pair that's been worn by someone else a few times and has a couple of skid marks on it....

Yup, drove plenty of them. just don't buy an ex-hire/lease peugots, they are all pretty horrible and after standing a short whilse have all manner of problems when it comes to start them. No problems with the seats, VWs, chryslers and mercs, but the french cars are just BAD.

Wouldn't mind an ex-lease curpa R in yellow, stunning car to drive :D
