Not whilst there is still such uncertainty no, I doubt it.

They're a business, they're in it to make money and they're taking a safe approach due to the overnight volatility. Once they've reviewed what's what, they can go and change the products which don't need such price changes.

People seem to forget the £/$ was in the mid 1.20's earlier this year... did that see a huge increase in prices on OCUKor anywhere else? No. This is either panic pricing (totally unjustified for any sane business minded person really) or simply taking advantage of the situation. £ is ALREADY showing signs of recovery, yet over night we've had £25 slapped on the cheapest 1080 and price increases across the board. Don't give me this business nonsense. The gouging never stops. I had just over £1K of stuff in my basket yesterday which has gone up over £100... yeah, makes sense. :(

I can see how that can hurt, but I actually get the argument about goods not being paid for by companies, and just because something is in stock doesn't mean prices couldn't, under certain circumstances, justifiably be raised. That's NOT the point though and we are NOT in a situation where these price increases can LEGITIMATELY be justified, bottom line.

Edit: Prices dropped. Interesting...

They did state in the other thread it was a blanket increase to cover them until the particular product managers had a chance to have a proper look at their sections and increase or decrease as appropriate.
 
keeping the prices the way they are and saying that we do that for you guys even if valatility is high would have been a much more wiser move than upping everything out of the blue sky.As i said we live in a greed society.
 
With the intense doom and gloom some people are exhibiting they should just have a fire sale, everything half price, shut down OCUK and call it a day ha! This is a big reason why we voted out... all this negativity that dominated the Remain campaign is just so annoying and totally unjustified. We will be OK, but if this greed continues no one wins.

You think there will be no more greed with the Brexit ?

The divide will be just the same IMHO.

We will still have the haves and have nots but we need to move forward and embrace the change.
