Priest Feast - Judas Priest, Megadeth & Testament

It really is a shame that Priest may be playing the new album - hopefully they'll play a couple of tracks and do what they're best at.
I must have seen Priest at least 10 times when they first came out and Halford is my hero.
On saturday I bought the Halford Resurrection World tour DVD and it is bloody awesome.

Saw them on Friday, t'was good, they played about 3 songs from the newest album. Megadeth's setlist was great, played quite a few songs. Testament was ok, lead singer could have had a better stage presence imo, because I just ended up laughing because most of the time he was just standing there trying overly hard to copy the guitar using his half microphone stand as his air guitar.

Sounds good :)

Got an email from the SECC ticket office earlier too.

Driving up to cardiff on friday, cant wait!! Read on the net though that there isn't specific priest feast t-shirts with all the bands on just their individual t-shirts which disappointed me, can anyone else confirm this?

Well just got back from seeing Megadeth and Testament at the carling academy here in Newcastle - bloody fantastic! Testament were really amazing, souls of black was fantastic, did really good banter with the crowd.

Megadeth were really good too but all I could hear was the drums :o

Judas Priest decided not to play in Newcaslte though :( *sob sob*

my friends where at this (i had a ticket but could not make it) apparently testament's sound quality was not great which is disappointing cause i've seen them live before and they were amazing, i went absolutely mental for them lol. everything thinks the sound was just set up for priest and testament and megadeth just had to make do =/

Monday night was epic :D

Wanna go again :D

Thats what they did - I think 2 or possibly 3 songs off Nostradamus then classics the rest of the way :D

Sounds great from all you guys minus some sound issues! Cannot wait to see the gig at Wembley on Saturday :D really excited about the gig

Saw them last week in Belfast. Sound was very poor - acoustics of venue not up to volume which was too loud. Having said that thought Priest were good and new album is brilliant!!! Unlike other bands, such as AC/DC and Iron Maiden at least Priest try to be different and don't just rehash the same old chords.

Went to the cardiff one last night, all i can say was that it was awesome!! Testament were good but perhaps sounded a bit to loud for the place but when megadeth came on they sounded spot on, so clear. The were highlight of the night for me. Priest were good as usual but think megadeth stole the show.

I stood near the front for Testament and really enjoyed them, but with me knocking on a bit and my old man with me, we stayed back near the middle at the side for Megadeth, who I thought were quite disappointing and Priest who were pretty good.

Overall, a good gig,:)

From Megadeth to Priest it got really tight in the front/middle. I was on the barrier and I was getting half crushed from the left and my mate next to me was getting driven into the barrier from the back. Don't think his ribs felt too good afterwards lol. My left arm is stiff as atm. We were pinned to the barrier for the 2nd half of Priest and I couldn't drink the water because I couldn't lift my arms. It was well worth it tho! :) Its probably best you got out of it for megadeth-priest.

I agree Megadeth seemed abit flat, i was really looking forward to them it but there was like a missing vibe or something in the band, I dunno just seemed abit flat. Testament just came out and went for it, Megadeth seemed somewhat reserved and Priest just stole the show, then again it was their show!
