Going to see this lot tonight in Newcastle, Never seen Primal Scream before despite them being around a good few years. But basically what I want to know is this - should I make the effort to catch the support or not? Saw them on Later.. on Fri and thought they looked quite good but one of my mates who I'm going with tonight has seen them previously and reckons they've only got two decent songs (the ones they played on TV on Fri)

yes. I seen them live in nottingham, and they wer fantastic, full of energy and nah, they have much more than 2 decent songs. The two songs your friend is talkin about are just the two singles which have had massive radioplay.

YES!

See The View live, you will not be dissapointed. I didn't think much of them up untill Reading festival but I ended up in the wrong tent with a mate looking for some hot girl band. Anyway they totally blew both of us away, so much so we argued with people leaving after thier 'popular' songs.

Great energy and very very good musicians. Go in with an open mind, avoid all the young girls (or not in my case) and you will be suprised.

Well my hand was forced by fate. When I left work at 6pm my car wouldn't start so I had to ring the AA. Hence by the time I got sorted and got to the gig had missed the View.

On the plus side I did bump into the singer during Primal Screams set and shook hands with him.

Primal Scream were awesome btw
