I am a graphic design: new media student at uni and I am looking for a new printer. My current printer is a Canon IP2200, and to put it bluntly its crap it was given to me as part of my DSA equiptment from the government and its awful. I am looking for some thing to last me though the next two years for printing essays, images/photos and graphic design work.
I dont want to spend mroe than £200 and I would like it to be cheap to run i.e. the cartidges can be expensive if they actually last a proportionatly longer time and dont dry up.
On a side note I have been seriosly considering the HP 2600n as I feel I could probably get away without buying a new toner set in the next 2 years however I hear the graphics arent brilliant from some people and it only prints A4 for the price of an A3 ink jet.
