Printer issues

Evening

Just got a new cheap printer epson sx235w.

and a pack of cheap ink for a fiver from the bay, as i don't print very often.

problem is this....

Could this be due to the cheap ink? or what?

Any help much appreciated guys.

Looks like my mums Kodak printer! I think the print nozzles are blocked.

Is there a option to clean or calibrate the print heads?

Did you not get starter cartridges to test? When we talk about cheap inks, £5 is a little too cheap. Check out Inkrite who make decent cartridges that don't cost the earth.

did i hell, got no inks at all

So wondering whether the problem was with the printer itself or the inks to know where to go from here?

Weird that you didn't get any starter cartridges with it. I guess you could try another set of better quality cartridges and if you have no luck then RMA the printer for another of the same model. I suspect it's the cartridges however - does this happen regardless of what colour you try and print?

That's the cartridges.

Look at Refresh Cartridges for good quality.

You may need too return it, if so remove the non official cartridges as they would void the warranty.
