Printer no longer working with Windows 10

Hello all

We have had a HP Envy 4520 wireless printer for a few months, all working fine until the last week or so.

Mrs G was complaining that her prints were only printing in black and white. Checked settings and ink, all fine.

Tried printing from my desktop (she is on a laptop) and I am getting a failed to print message.

I ran a test print whcih returned fine. I can email documents to the printer and they print fine.

I can print from my android phone and the documents print fine.

So the issue presumably is Windows 10. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Gone for the "nuke em from orbit" option and removed the printers from my machine, downloaded basic driver installed then added the printer again. Now seems to be working on my machine. Will do the same on Mrs G's laptop.

I had a similar issue with a HP and the live support technician said to configure the printer with a static IP address and configure this in the LPT settings. I don't know if that's true.
Reinstalling normally does the job though :D
