I use a paving slab on top of a foam mat on top of some foam underlay for both my P1S and Core One. Really reduces noise that resonates through desk tops, wooden shelfs etc.
he said P1Swhat noise? what printer?
if you're running custom try turning off stealthchop.
sucks to be him then. maybe speak to the person on the other side of the room and work out when it's ok to print?he said P1S
not much he can do on closed ecosystem
fast printing means loud ...
lol I just got mine earlier and it really is noisy! At work where we also have one it can't be noticed but at my place, boy I need to do something!Recommend methods to reduce the noise the p1s makes. I currently have 3 of these in a spare bedroom with my neighbours bedroom being on the other side of the wall which he is not too happy with.
having a foam pad between the slab and the floor helps apparentlyI found it fits perfectly on a concrete paving slab from B&Q which you can pick up for £11

Bricking Your 3D Printer, In A Good Way

iirc the bambu's use input shaping so should be able to account for vibrations during calibration.I used rubber walking stick ferrules as feet for my Prusa and not bothered for my two Bambu’s, and I’ve not noticed much of a difference noise / vibration wise, especially as the bambu’s print much quicker under normal conditions. When it’s calibrating it sounds like a jet engine lol
