Printer prices

I'm not in the market for one, fortunately, but my old man will be shortly... what's happened to pricing? Another victim of 2020? There doesn't seem to be hardly anything under £100. I usually set Dad up with an Epson every 5/6 years for around the £40/50 mark. He likes the cheap ink

I reckon he's going to be in for a shock!

No idea where you're looking or what specific requirements you have but i can find a decent selection of printers for £40 - 50.

I've found some models under £60 from a couple of competitors after a longer look, some are in stock by the looks. They don't appear to be in abundance like they normally are though? Especially from Epson...

My Dad generally kills off his printer every 5/6 year like I say, the combination of print volume and using crappy eBay inks isn't ideal I've just found the invoice for the last one I ordered for him; an Epson XP-412, on offer at £38.

I was hoping to find something like that again but I can't see anything new around that mark.
