Printer waste container

Is it okay to empty a waste container and reuse it or do you have to buy a new one?

Empty it, clean it, put it back and you should be good to go.

Agreed. Just be careful with the waste toner, honestly it can get evvvverywherrre.
I often re-use ours when i dont have a spare in stock.

Luckily it blew in the opposite direction to me.
