I want to print off a forum thread that has pictures in it. However, I can't do it at work as the pics are blocked so I just end up with a red cross. Is there an easy way I can do this or is it just a case of copying & pasting the pages into a word document and then printing?

Can you not print the page using your browser?

I can but no pictures show up, work blocks them (we use XP & IE6).

I'm trying to print off a xbmc setup guide so I need the pictures. I could do it at home but trying to save ink :)

Hmmm thats a bit ticky, i don't know maybe you could try and use a proxy as this might load the images? The thing is if your work blocks all images on the net your going to have issues unless you do it from home as you say.

You could try saving the webpage at home as a complete web page, it creates a folder with the images in, and then put it and the folder onto a usb drive and load that at work.

I can't even do that cos usb is locked here, we can't do anything. In fact, I'm not even supposed to be here now :D

Sounds like someone dosen't trust their employees xD how about emailing the URL to yourself and just viewing the page from home?

LoL I was wondering if you could print them at home?

Andi.

Just had a look at what I want to print and the pics are only on the first page so I'll print that at home and then print the rest off at work. Next problem is getting it off the shared printer before the boss sees it, time for some Deus Ex stealth moves!

If you link me to the thread, I'll save it as a PDF for you.

Thanks for the offer mate but I've done the first page with the pics on now and printed the rest as just text.

Just for reference, how do you save it as a pdf?

If you install adobe acrobat, you should have Adobe PDF printer in the printer folder. In order to convert a webpage to a PDF format, press print and select Adobe PDF printer.
