Hi guys,

We've just bought a new colour laser printer, and our office prints our letterhead on it, and then keeps this pre printed paper in their mono laser printer to print letters etc.

When they do this, they get a faint imprint of the original letterhead down the page, getting fainter each time!

Any ideas how to solve this one?

Thanks,

Mal :)

In times past, when I have investigated this I have found it to be because you are doing a double-pass with a laser printer.

The second pass re-melts the toner on the paper ever so slightly giving the faint image of the letterhead.

You could try different types of paper, or getting the letterhead professionally produced, or finding a laser printer that needs a higher temperature to melt the inital toner
