Prison Break is a television series on Fox that premiered on August 29, 2005. Thirteen episodes had originally been ordered, but, due to the success of the show, Fox extended it to a full season. Prison Break was created and co-executive produced by Paul Scheuring. It is filmed on location in Joliet Prison in Illinois. The first 13 episodes ran from August to November 2005 on Mondays on Fox. The remaining 9 episodes will air from March to May 2006.

I haven't read most of this thread due to unwittingly reading any spoilers :o

But have watched the last couple of episodes and am getting into it... then realised that we are on eps 12!

Was wondering if the first lot were on dvd yet in the US yet - anyone know?

I LOVE this show. I'm anxious at what's going to happen next. For those in the US, it's on tonight ;)
 
There are plans for a further 2nd and maybe 3rd series by the way -
From the very mouth of Wentworth = legend!

Would explain what of but then might give away rest of this series!

Anyone who listens to Radio1 will know what im on about ;)
 
Yes the first set is out on DVD - :D

You can prob catch the interview again on 'Listen again' he's a legend!
 
I can't see the DVD's being released until the season finishes in the states, that'll be about five or six weeks time as the US is on ep17 iirc.

16 was the flashback one from what I remember. In fact, I'm certain, epguides is a quality site. E17 should be a good episode from the write up.

But its Part 1 of the DVD set
So only eps 1 through 12 i think!

Kind of how Lost did and we all got totally ripped off again ;)

You're not the only one. I had to watch the series from the start. If I miss a show from the start or miss an episode, I have to wait for it to be repeated or released so I can watch it in one go.

Apparently the DVD (Season 1, Part 1) is due for release on 29th May. It'll be spread across 4 discs, like Lost, but I haven't seen any word of special features yet. The RRP is £34.99, so it looks like a bit of a rip-off really :(
 
Great series - absolutely loving it.

Anyone else notice - to make a great gritty tv show - you don;t need any swearing???

I think this just proves that even a series set in jail, does need to contain 50 swear words ever 2 minutes.

Roll on the next eposide - and keep any spoliers to a minimum on the thread!!!!! :p :p :p

Haha, we had this exact conversation the other day about lost as it happens. It is brilliant but we noticed a lack of swearing. If I was in a plane crash, on a deserted island, the first thing I would say when I got up would be, 'What the **** has happened here?'

Wouldn't it be a bit obvious? You've just been in a plane crash and you've ended up on a deserted island :p
