I know that flying enthusiasts lurk on here. So I want to obtain a PPL - do I have to do it all in one school? I know that as soon as you pass the first exam, you have 18 months to pass the 13 others.

Reason I'm asking is that I'm currently living in London, moving to Leeds/Bradford in 7 weeks. I'll be staying there for 9 weeks and will then be moving to Newcastle for my final year of Uni. Ideally, I'd like to start in Leeds/Bradford aviation school and then transfer to Newcastle but I'm not sure if this is possible - has anyone had any experience of transferring schools?

Has anyone got any tips / useful resources that have helped them get through the PPL?

Cheers for the help :)

It doesnt matter where you do the leasons as long as you get the hours needed and pass the exams, but watch out if you change to flying a diffrent model as you may have to spend a little time getting used to it.

Ah cool, that's kind of a relief! :-) Thanks!

What about resources? Any good books/online content? I've found 'AFE PPL Course Series Pack' set of books by Jeremy Pratt but any good recommendations that helped you get through it, I'd be glad to hear :)
