Private Plate - Old MOTs

Hi,

Im waiting for the retention certificate from my friend, then im going to assign the mark to my vehicle.

My question is, will all of the old MOT cerificates be changed as well, as these will be of great value when i go to sell the vehicle?

or doesnt this matter, as when i go to sell the vehicle (without the cherished plate) i will get the old plate assigned to the car anyway??

nope , only the current one but it will show the relationship between the 2 reg numbers

you nearly always get your old reg number back when you change back

MOT certificates have the VIN number on them anyway, so even if there is a plate change they can still be associated with the vehicle.
