Pro Evo 6 rant

Been playing it on the 360 for a long time and have to complain about some of the stuff.
1. The AI for your team is terrible. I know it would be boring if it always worked, but when it's going to mess up please do it convincingly.
2. Online connections, I know there not going to be perfect, but when it stops my shoot button from being pressed it can get frustrating. Also the players take an age to turn round.

Anyone care to add anything?

Play UEFA CL 06/07, and you will realise how good PES6 is

- Pause Cheaters online (although I won the last two stand offs

)
- Shooting is terrible with the majority of players
- Adriano is TOO good
- Unlicensed teams

The fact that the PC/PS2 version are so much better

I actually prefer the 360 version, although I haven't played it on the PC for sometime now. The thing I do miss is KitServer for the PC

I really hope PES7 is a true next gen version of the game though. Any one know of when a likely release date would be? Late this year?

Didnt I read somewhere that Microsoft have purchased the rights to release both the next Pro Evo game and FIFA game only on the X-Box 360?? (ie. no PS2, PS3 or PC version this year!)

Looks like Konami are gonna have plenty of time to get the PS3 version spot on for Pro Evo 8!!!!!

Offline I much prefer the PC version with Kitserver, but for online the 360 is much better, sure you get some lag, but never really that bad I have found, while on the PC its a joke and 90% of competition matches are lag fests.

I think that was in reference to the fact that the only next gen console pro evo 6 will be on is the 360.

Pro Evo 7 will be on all formats.

I hate PES 6 with a passion, while the graphics didnt bother me that much and I found the animations to be great, I just couldnt get my head around how they made playing football sooooo complex, was like the old school beat-em-up days where there were a million button combo's to remember to do something simple.

I didn't give up or it quickly I gave it plenty of time, I just found if i wanted a bit of fun it wasn't for me. Im also positive at times the players thought they were playing rugby rather than footy as the slightest of touches to a button was skying the ball into row Z of the stadium

they better bring the good old PES days back!

Just remembered the auto player switch does my head in, always seems to give me the wrong player and steal control away from the best placed one. Really need the option for how much control you had like in the others. The whole things smacks of lazy programming.

My big gripe is the AI, sure the game looks and feels better than previous versions but the players around you are still brain dead. Your two onto one, and your just dying for your team mate to your right to to keep running for a simple side pass so he can place it into the net... your just ready to press A... and the fool checks his run, turns around and heads for the half way line

Offsides annoy me aswell in version 6, my players always seem to be offside when I use through ball!!

I noticed that or they play them out towards the wing when it would have been easier to play them through on goal.

Some more I've just remembered:
1. The half trips that obviously lose you the ball but are never fouls.
2. Players letting the ball just roll past them.
3. The fact that the defender is always faster no matter who the two players are.

That only happens if you have sprint held down.
