I know were not allowed to talk about NO-CD patches, but just out of curiosity, is this ATI fix, a NO-CD patch?

If it is, thats why you can't play online.

Steve

Had the same problem before applying the ATI fix as well as after. I got the following error:-

"Error occurred during verification"

If what you said was the case then it should have let me connect when the fix was not applied in the beginning

I was just assuming the ATI fix was a NO-CD patch, and thats why it would not let you on.
My mate used a NO-CD for BF2 and it kept kicking him off our server.

I don't know then.
My copy will be here Wednesday, so I will check it out then.

Anymore on the League Pablo?

The No-dvd crack has nothing to do with online play, I know this because I used a no-dvd crack and still played PES 5 online using my serial key. The only reason they can't play online is because of the damn servers. Well done Konami

has anyone compared this to the 360 version? does it play the same or slightly different?

i just don't like using the d-pad on the 360 controller for this game, it feels and plays cheap and nasty, so a good PC version with the ps2 controller would be 'get in there' for me.

Having just trawled through a few PES 6 forums I have found that Konami are having huge problems with the servers. Some of the non english ones are completely down. I think we might just have to wait it out for them to fix the servers then we can play online

Played a few more games and I have to say I'm loving this a lot more than 5! Everything just seems more realistic and unlike pro evo 5 I can't predict what's going to happen although I may be able to over time. you can score some nice goals which seem realistic which is what makes them so great!

I have an Nvidia 6600GT 128MB, yet I'm getting stuttering at the beginning of the matches.

I'm also using a 360 controller and can't seem to confirgure the buttons properly, can anyone give me some advice about this, it's picking up the start button was a trigger etc, and unlike PES5, you can't specify each button individually.

The English ones are down for me too, havent been able to login since I got the game on Thursday

I can't see to adjust the control properly because it's getting confued with the start button and the face buttons/triggers, and there's no way to configure the start/select buttons.

Is anyone else using a 360 controller?

Another problem is that when the game boots up, it seems to shift the display over to the left, meaning that here is a black down the right, yet you can't alter the screen resolution.

This game really stinks of a console->PC port, may have to take this one back for a refund.

Chrisss, Which drivers are you using for the xbox 360 controller? the official microsoft ones or the XBCD drivers? use XBCd drivers. They are much better

you can change the screen resolution by going to start > all programs > Konami > Pro evolution soccer 6 > Settings

Thanks for that, I think I'm using the MS drivers. Once the XBCD drivers are installed, how will I be able to map the controls better?

Well, just downloaded the latest firmware update for my DVDRW Drive, and it still won't read my Pro Evo DVD after 3 minutes of hour glassing each time.

Gutted :( Wtf can I do next?

New DVD-RW Drive will take too long, and I don't know that it will definately work if I get a new one anyway! :(

ffs.

go here:-

http://xbcd360guide.50webs.com/download.html

Download the xp version of the driver

after installation you should have a little utility im start > all programs > xbcd 360 driver > setup utility.

In the above site you can also download some profiles

try it out

Thanks for that - got my buttons mapped how I like them now.

Now to try and sort out the stuttering which I thought was only meant to effect ATI card owners :(

Try the same fix. It might actually fix it for you too
