Pro Evo 6

What is wrong with Konamis servers...Sorry i haven't had pro on the PC since Pro4 i have 5 and 6 on PS2.

As i recall from pro 4 you had to use ip's to connect to who ever you wanted to play - is this still the case?

This is what i'm getting too :( .

Stuttering is terrible at first but then it gets better. Really like this when it plays well though. Baptista is rather tasty for the Ar*e

very suprised with the graphics.

with my geforce 7300GT, I can run the game @ 1680x1050 res @ full detail without skiping a beat.

Very happy. just need to get PS2 controller and converter.

i'm also getting the verification message. Did anyone receive a email once they registered? I am sure it said it would send one but I haven't got.
 
After my 4-0 and 6-1 thrashing by Pigeon_Killer, I'm going to wait until I get my adaptor before I play anyone else :)

I will be buying it Tonight, so it should be delivered on Friday :D

Then I will show you my 1337 PES skillz!
 
PES6 is crap; an atrocious, boring game.

Why have they gone away from the arcade style of PES5 and back to the slow-paced PES4? It's also extremely difficult, I'm yet to score my first goal. Perhaps it's my style of play, but I'm finding 'regular' mode impossible.
 
i had a quick go last night and my 1st impressions are:
  • Harder to get round defenders
  • a bit slower than PES5
  • 1600x1200 is a great improvement in clarity over PES5
  • The ball was a stupid red/white RBk one which i hope you can change
I will be doing further testing later and updating the option file etc. Every time they bring out a new PES it takes a while to get used to the newer style of play. Im hoping once i have mastered it, it is just as much fun!

Has anyone managed to download a real kit pack yet?
 
Having played a few more games I've now changed my mind about the keepers. I thought they had made a massive step forward but every keeper I use has David James syndrome. If a shot is hit with power it more often than not gets spilled and ends up in the net. I've already scored more own goals in this version than the last, because of rebounds off the keeper, and losing 3-0 isn't much fun when the opposition doesn't manage to score :( Apart from the resolution I can't say I've found anything that I prefer over PES5.
