Hmmm I'd cancel it if it wasn't for all my friends and family buying it. Oh well I might end up with fifa as well after all. Nokkon will give me his cheap in exchange for my football tips over msn;)

Do you still get that annoying problem with the keeper throwing the ball out? You know when you want to throw one out quickly and the damn keeper wont.
 
Gah, not good :(

Lag is usually a common issue with releases of PES and a patch usually rectifies it. Hopefully this is the case.

I think it takes him the same amount of time as in 6

Sure but scoring goals, defending well, is much more important, lots of people I play online do all the tricks but end up doing nothing, which is why I say they are not that important, IMO.
 
Played the game earlier at my mates on PC, was a joy, never went online but we had some cracking games, pace of the game is just about perfect, so fluid, the AI seems a bit better than 6 but I never thought it was bad at all in 6, still do as they are told and run where told :D Graphics not bad, gameplay was really great though, was suttering a lot in replays etc but fine in game bar a couple of dips when lots of action going on. Not so keen on the slide tackle sound, bit arcade, and the refs are uber strict, but overall its just made me want it even more for the 360, hurry up postman :D

And best of all, it has a whistle when the ball goes out of play :D

That review doesn't mention anything about installing to the hard drive, neither does it mention anything about playing in specific stadiums (which basically gets rid of slowdown).

When installed to the drive it's suppose to pratically reduce the slowdown and it's only on some stadiums that it gets as bad as they say it does (even though they don't sound like they have installed it to the HDD).

My copy will be dispatched tommorow morning and it's recorded delivery, not to mention it's only £29.99.

Hopefully get it Thursday :)

Why doesn't everyone just wait until they get the game to make judgement. I would NEVER not buy a game that I have been waiting a year for just because someone made a few bad comments about it.

Also, people are saying that there are lag and slowdown problems LIKE IN PES 6.

I swear everyone was playing a different game than me, other than the odd lag online (which you get in EVERY game at some point) I never had any persistent lag and certainly no slowdown in PES6. Well, slight lie, the only slowdown was when a keeper took a goal kick, but who cares about that really? Other than that, not one bit of noticeable slowdown

Mine is being sent today, and I can't wait to play it :)

I think the only want to criticise the lag etc is Soulja who has the game mate, so its fair play for him to express his feelings.

I'll wait till I've played it to say anything, it sounds pretty bad seeing these comments right now though.
 
I got the PS3 version this morning and PC version as well. Sadly I am away from home so cannot play until Friday night! My brother is playing it as we speak however, he says it is amazing.
 
I hopefully get mine tonight but working on the house then playing real football so not gonna get chance to get on until late (if it arrives)

Going to take a while to get back into the game after playing FIFA for 3 weeks solid.

Fair enough. I have seen comments saying how it is "as bad as PES6" though (although I cannot be bothered to go back and find them :p)
