I'm finding when I do get a game, the lag between pressing a button and it doing something is making it very difficult to get any kind of passing move going. I wonder if FIFA is better online.....

Vs you was my first game online mate, and I noticed it too. :confused:

Its very frustrating as you have to press the the buttons in advance to what you want to do!

Managed to get my first ranked game going tonight - up until now I could only get any sort of online game if I was invited or I invited someone else. I take it it's not possible to invite/be invited to a ranked game? Every time I've tried the option is greyed out.

Anyway, won the game 3-0 and after a lot of lag in the first minute, the rest of the game was pretty smooth.

Yeah, I'm finding I get caught in possession quite a lot simply because it takes a split second longer than usual from when I press the button to the player actually responding.

I'd certainly be up for a game this evening if anyone else is. I haven't tried any ranked matches yet as I've just been playing against friends so far.

Depending whether you have changed the Right trigger and left button around, it will be the one that isnt dash! My dash is the RT, so I used RB for tricks, sidestep and other stuff.

Also the right anologue stick can be used, up-down chips the ball over oppositions head, circular motion does a maradona turn

Look in the manual, theres loads.

Fake shooting I like the best, shoot as normal and whilst the bar goes up press pass and it will cancel it and normally go past oppositon nicely

Guess I should have a read, I've been messing with combination of RB (I swapped the triggers and buttons) and other buttons but haven't been able to do much.

I took one look at all the moves and just thought 'sod it, I'll pick it up as I go along'

argh - I can't get into this game to save my life. It's sooo slow :/

Has anyone else noticed players standing still waiting for (really slow moving) passes to get to them. It's very weird, and often feels like playing PES5 at half speed. Am I going nuts, or have others noticed how un peslike this feels?

Feels just like all the others to me :confused:

You can manually override a player to come to the ball earlier as well, if that helps? Think you hold down RT and RB - this is handy for leaving balls to go out of play so you don't automatically run onto them.

It feels like they don't kick the ball hard enough, and it just bobbles along until it reaches the other player. These professional players are trained to kick the ball hard!

Hold the pass button down longer then. Works for me.
