Thread revival but because there news finally coming through. :D

Fans in pub :D and now you can select who goes up for corner and who in wall. :D

Dont believe me ? search for scans on net cant post them here due to rules. :)

Edit: Oh and game playable in August at Leipzig. :)
 
A quote I read said that the graphics would be 'next gen'

From what I have seen so far it is the same as PES6 with slightly better player models. I really hope they make it better.
 
Can't see it being a huge improvement in the graphics department.

What people seem to forget is that there really isn't much point in doing highly realistic player models given that 99% of people will play using a view that is too far out to make out the finer details.

I think the player models/stadiums will look a little better when in replay mode, but for general play it will probably look almost identical.
 
Some things I would like to see improved:

- Animations, in particular when a player falls over and when they shoot.
- Shooting. I hate the fact that unless it is a forward or a decent midfielder that shoots, you can pretty much expect the shot to be rubbish.
- Graphics improved at least a little.
- I would love to see touble footed tackles, proper leg breakers, and to actually see a leg break in half if you catch them right.
- Chelsea to be licensed.

I am sure there are loads more but I can't think right now.

That's a good addition, the amount of time Scholes gets in the box for them :rolleyes: He needs to be waiting outside the area :D
 
Main thing I want back from this game is the ability to score long range goals again

Pro Evo 1-3 you could score some cracking long range efforts, but the later games its been really difficult and more often than not have to be from inside the box

Same with free kicks, the free kick system in 6 was utter pants
 
Yeah the freekicks made it worth giving a foul away. I'd also like dodgy ref decisions, just as in real life.

Long range shooting % was about realistic for me.

Dont care about the GXF and stadiums, the gameplay was spot on.

Free kicks are not so bad, scored quite a few now, don't want to make it too easy, its just right.

I agree, I quite like the free-kicks. Atleast they are better online after they removed that bloody lag online that stopped you getting smooth power bars when the game was released.

No need for power when you have accuracy ;)

How far away are you trying to hit them? Granted I've mastered from around 20/25 yards out. 30/35 yards is difficult.
 
About 20/25 yards :(

I just cant get any power, there just too weak, there the sort that would beat the keeper if they had any pace, but he just has too much time to get to the ball

In the old PES' you could press the right/left trigger for more or less power, not sure if 6 has this option now?
 
ive played some scary people on PES6 online.

you think you cant score long rangers on this game? your wrong.

one guy was england and just absolutely TAITERED me with 40 yard goals from owen and rooney. left me with no chance.

You just press 'Y' when the bar is on and the player hits the free-kick harder.
