Me again :D

On GA-Z68AP-D3 motherboard there is 2 sys fans and 1 PWR fan, can someone explain difference between them to me please ? :) And where should I plug my case fan which comes with (3 pin) to power of motherboard?

Thank you

looking at a picture of the motherboard i honestly cant see what the difference between those two would be either. they are both 3 pin fan sockets so, assuming you have a 3 pin fan, either will be fine. i'd have a check in the motherboard manual to see what it says about them

if i was to guess, i would say the PWR_FAN could only give 100% power, whereas you might be able to adjust the voltage on the SYS_FAN, so connecting the fan to SYS_FAN might give you some degree of control of the fan

Connect your chassis fans to CHA FAN or SYS FAN so your system can control the speeds. But not PWR FAN.

PWR_FAN, as mentioned above will run it at 100% only which means more noise. It has something to do with the PSU.

The PWR_FAN is for PSU's (only some support it, so if your PSU doesn't have it, don't bother)

The sys fans are for general fans. Connect your case fans to these. Don't connect a case fan to the other.

P.S. Doesn't the manual mention this?
