Before I go any further I do not make a habbit of the following event - However on putting my foot to the floor in my Audi A4on the occasions I need to,once I reach @ 80-85mph the car starts to shudder and the faster I go the more it continues with greater force to the extent it can be quite un-nerving.

I thought originally it could be incorrect tyre pressure or pushing to hard but on driving a diesel with 136K on the clock and the rev not even going above 3,000 that shouldn't be a problem.

So what I wanted to ask is what else could contirbute to this scneario? I have recently had a new clutch and dmf installed but to be honest I doubt if it has anything to do with this as the "problem" only arises at higher speeds.

Tyre pressures
Wheel balancing
Wheel allignment

Check them in that order

Take it back to the place you got your last tyres from, if you ask them nicely they'll probably re-balance them for free
