Hey guys im trying to boot from my windows 7 disc so i have gone into BIOS and set first boot priority to the disc which should be all fine and dandy, but now every time i restart the computer i get about 5 seconds to "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD..." and it's just not working  im hammering random buttons and it still just loads up Vista! Really getting frustrated as i can't see why this is happening?

Thanks.

Ok i have found the problem! My keyboard isn't active till the Vista loading screen! Any way to solve this without going out and buying a new keyboard and hoping for the best?

Well went to town and got a PS2 keyboard so all sorted now and installed :)

BUT... as this was a fresh install all of my "old" files have been put into a folder called "windows.old" and i would like to know is it advisable to do a fresh install of my games etc that are now in "windows.old" or can i just run them straight from that folder?

I wonder if this is motherboard specific? I've only ever used USB keyboards when installing my Windows 7 PCs, its never failed to detect it during boot.
