problem connecting to one IP address

Hi

I have a strange problem since I moved to a Netgear DGN2000 router.

I can't connect to one external IP address.

Everything else works fine.

The strange thing is if I restart my router I can connect fine for about 30-60 minutes and then I have the same problem.

What could it be?

Did you check that the router firmware is up to date before trying to troubleshoot?

Yes, router has latest FW.

What is the external address and how are you connecting to it? Are you using remote desktop/VNC or VPN?

I connect to it in a number of ways eg.

to the sbs server using http://mail.xxxxxx.org
using the direct ip to the router http://**.***.**.***:**
using vpn doesn't work either

When I can't access the above network I can't access my home network from the above network either.

Once I reset my router everythign works fine again for about an hour.
