Problem Creating Zip Folders

Hi I want to encrypt a folder but I can't create a reguler .Zip file. I try using right click, new then it isn't there. I've tried winzip but that isolates all the files and i want them all in their folders and that. I'm running Xp Home, any help?

Have you tried 7 Zip?

As far as I know, Winzip retains folder structure. Have you viewed the zip and looked at the Path column?

When you say it isolates all the files you want archiving, do you mean it gets rid of the folder order and stuff? Are you just trying to look in the newly made archive as a preview, or have you tried unzipping it again?
