Problem finding a part bmw

Hi all

i have a BMW 318i SE 2.0 2002 4 door saloon

now i cant find an exhaust for this car anywhere on the web full exhaust that is as its all 1 part they all seem to be for the older 1.9 engine

i rung bmw and the price they quoted me made me want to cry

any help much appricated

You need to ring around some BMW breakers.

I don't think they stock genuine BMW parts, thats why the parts are so cheap. I have used both of these shops for parts for my old VW Golf and my mate bought some parts for his BMW cabriolet(old 3 series) None of them seemed to be genuine parts and some parts will be slightly different design/fittings etc than the manufacturers ones. And seeing as it is a 2002 BMW I don't hink he'd want to put snide aftermarket parts on it. I'd rather go to a BMW breakers where they have a low mileage car with say rear end damage and purchase the genuine 2nd hand parts and fit these. There is a good one in greater manchester as they can be hard to locate, not that many in my town. Just bought an N-Reg BMW 316i compact off my mate and he said he picked some parts up for it from there and they was cheap.

i did try euro parts but no exhaust for my car would you beleave

looks like it will be a breakers yard no way am i paying 900 quid
