Four questions on Orthos

I've asked for a good link for Orthos blend, and I always get this one

http://sp2004.fre3.com/beta/beta2.htm

However, every time I download, I then click on the icon, it then asks me where I would like to extract to. I create a folder for it called "orthos" and it extracts there succesfully. I then go into the orthos folder and the orthos mountain icon is there. I click on it... and I get the "application failed to load because the file worker.dll was not found. Re-installing may solve the problem.

I've re-installed about 5 times, it doesn't.

Can anyone help?

I just downloaded that orthos file from the link and extracted the files using WinRar, 2 files the orthos proggy and the worker.dll, the proggy ran ok with the 2 files in the same folder, if you want I could send you the .dll file.

Is the worker.dll in the extracted folder? It and the Orthos.exe should both be in it.

4 questions if anyone's got a min..

1. Why does Orthos say I'm running at 3.6ghz clock speed? cpu-z and intel TAT all say 3.2 (400x8)

2. If Orthos(well my system) fails during Orthos, what happens, does the PC crash or does orthos stop testing and tell me?!

3. I get a red "paging" square come up from time to time, is this bad or just part of the process?

4. Am I okay to leave the PC running the test for hours or is this not adviseable?

I cant answer question 1 but my system was suffering from random reboots due to the overclock being a tad too much. When running orthos it simply crashed and rebooted with no further info.

I got the red square come up too.

After dropping back the overclock slightly I ran orthos on both cores for 24 hours...no probs.

1. The lowered multi confuses it.

2. Depends, either you're PC will crash and you'll need to restart or it'll generate an error message

3. That's normal (for Blend I think)

4. Yes, it's ok

Thanks Jokester, just what I wanted to know. I'm starting the test now, and I'll leave it running for the 8 hours I'm at work. If there's no errors when I get back, that's stable enough for me!
