Problem in XP

I am having a little problem with Windows XP. As I use my computer in windows I experience a slow but steady decrease in the amount of applications I can open at any one time. This is most noticeable in Internet explorer where the amount of windows or tabs I am able to open steadily decreases, but affects other programs as well.
My system is below.

Try some general PC health checks

- Full Antivirus Scan (Recommend NOD32, Trendmicro(freeonline))
- Full Spyware Scans (Recommend Ad-aware, Spyware Blaster)
- Full Scan Disk
- Full Defrag

Then see how you go..
