i've just finished off a new build and have started her up. i am now looking to install Windows XP but i am finding that the computer is asking me to reboot once there is something to boot from.
i tried going into the BIOS and in there the computer recognises both my HD and DVD. i then tried changing the order of the booting sequence so that the DVD was 1st but this hasnt changed anything.
i noticed when loading normally that it doesnt list the devices found. it just states that there are none.
i've already checked to make sure everything is connected correctly and now i'm abit stuck.
i'm running an Asus P6T SE motherboard with SATA HD & ROM drives.
does anybody have any idea to what the problem could be?
