Problem installing Hitachi Deskstar T7K250.

The hardrive works fine, i installed it with a standard SATA cable which i guess doesn't make it unstable at any times?

I load windows up like normal, download updates install them all but when i install my motherboard drivers from nvidia website the pc reboots halfway during the installation but doesn't detect windows.This is the nforce 5.11 drivers, what am i doing wrong?perhaps i need something from hitachi website?

Nevermind i fixed it, seems the downloadable nforce 5.11 drivers from nvidia site are either corrupted or do not install correctly, i am not really sure but they didn't work well however when i used cd drivers i got with motherboard it went perfect.

Strange but true.

Certain nforce driver sets have horrendous IDE/SATA drivers. Unless your using the raid features of the nforce mobo's theres little point installing them - the default windows drivers arent half bad and less stability issues.
