Problem mirroring a drive

Hi, I have both Dantz Retrospect 7.0 and ViceVersa Pro, I'm trying to copy 140GB of files from one drive to another, both drives being in the same PC.

Every time i attempt the mirror it crashes into the mirror, and it happens in both pieces of software.

Any suggestions on how I can safely and reliably mirror this data?

synctoy and syncback always work for me

run a chkdsk /f on your source drive first to check the files are ok.

Thanks for your replies, I've managed to mirror the data, but not without a couple of computer crashes.

The problem I now have is that I have 140GB on a source drive, and I'm mirroring this to an empty hard drive, but once the mirroring is finished, the target drive, which should only show 140GB, instead shows 156GB.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
