Problem on start up

Made up a new build at Christmas time and all was working well until a few days ago I got a "Signal input error. Check video cable" I swapped the cable and monitor for a working one and still get the error. I contacted Overclockers and they suggested unplugging all components and plugging them in one at a time. The error did not occur when I did this and the PC booted up no problem but has returned. Any help much appreciated .
The build consists of :
ASRock FM2A75 Pro4-M AMD
Corsair Builder Series CX 500W V2 '80
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA
Cooler Master K380 Midi Tower Black Windowed Case
TeamGroup Xtreem LV 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit
Asus 24x DVD±RW DRW-24B5ST SATA ReWriter
