Hey guys,

Recently came back from hols and turned the pc (new build works fine) on. I downloaded steam and Supreme Commander Forged Alliance and tried to play it.
Did the tutorial, fine everything worked max graphics
Did multiplayer and the instant the game started, game shut down.

When I open task manager it show the wireless card hitting peak then dropping to null. This is my card:

Also tried to run the CD manual that comes with it and an error code comes up whenever i click a language to run it at.

I am using windows 8 so that may cause problems but it runs fine until i enter multi-player. Any help would be great!

Ok now its cutting out on mid and high levels single player. Have GPU-Z running and the game just cuts out. Max temps recorder is 63 degrees Celsius. Anyone have a clue what might be going on here? :/
Also highest load is 84% so it hasnt cut out because ti cant handle it.

Ok so just re-done the cables to the motherboard, GPU erc, put a fan at the bottom of the case to draw air up to the GPU and turned the PSU round so the fan point up to the case (it was getting a bit hot). i have a Zalman Z9 btw.

Have you tried removing the wireless card and playing if you suspect that to be the cause of the problem? Have you got any other games to try apart from FA?

Not at the moment no. I believe its the GPU though which is a MSI 6850 OC.
Since I re-adjusted the fans its keeping the GPU cooler however whenever it gets pasts 60+ degrees, bam shuts down.
EDIT: Its been playing multiplayer fine until that temp.

It ends the game. Just back to desktop but no warning errors. I thought it might not be that high temps, will put generals in now.
