i just today installed vist home premiun on a spanking new 320gb seagate 7200.10 and i installed all updates(i was a little worried before i did that as not even my speakers worked) with no problems until i tried to access xp my keyboard can access the bios fine but when it comes to nitting the up or down arrows or even enter that is where the problem comes in.
i downloaded the vista drivers for my keyboard and every multimedia feature works so i was wondering was there anything im missing?
my keyboard is a microsoft digital media pro
any tips please?

im now able to select either of the OS's just by using the purple ps2 connector
but i now have a new problem, when trying to select older verdsion of windows(xp)i get a message saying this file is missing System32/hal.dll
but now when im in vista ive searched for it in my xp HDD and found it in the system 32 file
any ideas?

ok ive copied a new hal.dll file in and it still doesnt work, its really starting to worry me now as my plan was if everything i have works with vista i was going to swap out my sisters 40gb hard drive with my old 200gb one giving her more space but im unsure if it will work out of this machine now this is happening, any help please?
