Problem Setting Up Personal Hotspot

Hi

I am having a play with my shiny new 4s but am struggling with personal hotspot. I am on the One Plan with Three, so should get it, but I cannot set it up.

When I go into Setting > General > Network, the Person Hotspot button gets stuck on the "egg timer circle". Any ideas?

You probably need a carrier update, try connecting to iTunes. Failing that you'll probably have to contact Three.

Thought I'd ask here rather than start a new thread.

I've had my sim in a few hours, and can make texts and calls, but I'm not getting any data signal, so nothing seems to work unless I'm connected to WiFi.

Is this just me being impatient? And they need to activate it for the sim?

Try restarting.

Failing that, just wait. When I moved to Three for a short while it took 4 hours to be able to do anything.
