It's really hard to grasp what you are saying as it's not very well written - but you said you didn't have any copies of stuff saying she said she would pay you back. Without this you really don't have a leg to stand on.

Unless your other half (Who I assume is related to her) can get the money out of her - it might just be something to be taken as lesson and not trust her in the future.
