Why is there a mention of nvidia 6800xt?

Before I rma'd a gfx card I reinstalled windows. I realise you might have reasons not to but a spare drive would help and also you can install multiple versions of windows to the same drive or partition even and then select which to boot into from the bootmenu.

Mine always gives me this option automatically, xp
