Problem with 3dmark11

Hi, basically when I run the physics test im only getting 3 - 4fps nowadays which is really strange. I used to get 25 - 30fps and this is on my i7 3820 at 4.6ghz. So was wondering what could be causing this.

Check your memory with memtest86+

Also check to see if you have all four cores plus hyperthreading enabled in the bios.

It may be an idea to reset your bios to default settings to see if that helps.

Yea i had that and weird scores when i first ran it but a bios reset and settings check sorted it.


I get 30fps in the 3d mark 11 physics test with rig in my sig.Physics score is around 9600.With use of HT you should be getting just over 10,000.

I had this same issue with the same chip, after trying many many things I ended up in a situation where 3dmark simply wouldn't open, only solution was a clean os install.
