Problem with Acer Predator

My monitor appears to have developed a slightly bizarre fault that i cant fix - any ideas?

it wont go full screen and wont let me resize as it already thinks its at maximum size.

Its extremely frustrating.

Even when i turn the monitor the borders remain at the side and the top.

All I see is the panel border that is part of the panel itself and has and always will be there. What is the exact model?

No he means the bezel I've highlighted in red, the thought he should get that area as part of his viewing area.
