I just got an American NTSC Sony bravia TV which supports 1080p
But since plugging it in, my games are rendering at a very low resolution, then being upscaled to 1080p to fill the screen and they look all blocky. The desktop looks awesome at native resolution, but any full screen game or app, renders will do so at what looks like quater resolution, the odd thing is, that the games such as left for dead or battlefield still report that they are displaying 1080p, but quite clearly it's not because each pixel looks massive, and looks similar to 800 x 600 but just scaled out.
I've got an Nvida gtx 285 Windows 7 pro
Anyone got any idea whats going on? could the NTSC panel cause issues?
