When sending text messages, i can send loads and loads without a problem, then for no reason at all, il get 1 message that just fails to send everytime until i write it out again :/ Is this a common problem?

Also, if im in an area without signal and i try to send a text, i get a message saying it will be sent as soon as i get signal back, but i could be waiting for an hour with full signal and it still wont send, just has the little loading circle sat next to it  anyway to force send it?

My phone is a motorola milestone.

putting flight mode on and off would fix the second error. I don't know why the first is happening though sorry.

I had a similar problem for a while with orange. It cleared up when we moved :)
It was usually when the phone was accessing data.

To resend i just found the message and Hold click it until the options came up and clicked resend

cheers guys.

Had the same issue this morning, i attempted to send a message atleast 15 times, had full signal, message just would not send.

Had to delete the message and re-type it before it finally sent :/

i get that occasionally on my Milestone too. it's really annoying but i've not found a way to be rid of it. hopefully Motorola will have fixed it in 2.2

I get this on my Desire (2.1), using Handcent. No idea if the native app does it too.

Quite annoying.

Edit: On T Mobile

I had this issue over the weekend but after I moved location it seemed to clear it's self up, oddly.

I get message not sent all the time and it either has black busy circle or keeps retrying, thing is I get it in areas I have signal which is very frustrating.

I am on Orange how ever. (HTC Hero also)
