Problem with Asus DS 7.1

hey

Ive just removed an Asus DX2 from my system and replaced with a Asus DS 7.1 card. I uninstalled the d2x drivers nd removed the card. Put in the DS and installed drivers off disk. didnt work propely, computer was habging and was only getting sound out of 1 speak..left side.
Booted into sfae mode as computer was doing woerd stuff...removed driver and got latest driver off Asus website. Re-instlled card, installed latest driver and now getting no sound at all. I can even bring up the driver settings, DS audio center wont start.

Any ideas?

uninstall it and try again,i had this problem as well.

there is something about asus drivers that dont install first time....thats what i heard.

wow..ye..trid it about 7 times...still no work, was like the drivers werent being picked up in Win 7. Downloaded anothet set..one before latest...installed and now works. 2hrs stresss for nothing
