Problem with bios flash on P45-T2RS

Hi everyone,

I just grabbed a P45-T2RS to put into my new system and set everything up (4870, e8500, 2gb ballistix 1066)

However I am having 2 problems. When I restart the PC it hangs on the loading page with the dfi logo on, and there is no option in bios for 1066 RAM. I found that I could flash the bios to get this upgrade but when I try to flash using winflash I get the error 'Bios string does not match with system'

Can anyone help?!

Silly question but are you sure you have the correct BIOS?

I thought that at first. But getting it from here - http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Downlo...E=LP JR&INDEX_TYPE=null&STATUS_FLAG=A&SITE=US

PC also keeps 'pausing' to think which is annoying as it stops me doing anything. Possibly a mobo issue I don't know.

So long as you have the non-plus version, and it is not a micro-ATX, it should be:

If you have the smaller mATX version, then I have no idea!

Im running some beta bios and my system seemed a lot more stable, But that was released 2 or so months ago..
