Problem with build

Ok I think this is a mobo problem.

I loaded Skyrim and was playing for about 30 mins, when I got the memory dump blue screen. My hdd is screwed, I put it into another comp and get the same thing, wont boot past the windows loading screen, and then it gives me the same blue screen.

But, now my comp wont even load up. I turn it on, and i get a blank screen, i dont even get a light on my mouse, so the usb isnt workin. I have a Asrock extreme 4.
Sometimes, when i turn it on, the comp stays on for about 2 seconds, turns itself on, then off then on. But still nothing on the screen. I put in a different gfx card, but the same thing. And the LED display on the mobo stays on the same number all the time, 45. Usually it goes up and down.
I put another hdd in, still same thing.
This is why i think its the mobo. Even if cpu, ram etc didnt work, surely I would get something on the screen, telling me whats up. But i get nothing.

Any ideas? I have and RMA and its packed and ready to go, hope i done the right thing. Sorry for long post, but this beast I build is so young, and fresh and I was LOV|NG skyrim, thinking how awesome my next 3 months will be... :(:(:( Well my fiancee is happy now atleast. lol

You can't simply put a HD in another PC and expect windows to load, sometimes it works but quite often not. The fact that it started loading windows shows that it does work though.

The manual says:
0x3F-0x4E OEM post memory initialization codes
You're getting stuck on 45, which is within that band. Have you tried reseating the memory? How many memory sticks do you have? You could try them one at a time and try different slots.

Was anything overclocked?

edit:

To get anything at all on the screen, you do need the CPU and RAM working, and we've not ruled out the GFX either.

sounds like you may have bent pins in the socket, I had the error when building my pc(extreme7 tho) and got the error if the ram was in socket 3 or 4 and turned out to be bent pins(left me £35 out of pocket as ocuk want nothing to do with it and the rma guy on the phone plane out called me a liar. check my thread 'error 45' for details)

edit: here you go http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18335840

I think when I get mine tomorrow first thing I'll be doing is checking those pins!!!

have a camcorder/phone video recording handy from the min the delivery guy arrives to the min you unbox it, if it does have any bent pins then the guy who called me a liar(and also said that anyone claiming they received mb with damaged/missing pins is a big fat liar) will be shown that what he spouted to me is the lie(I.e you CAN'T receive a mb with damaged/missing pins).

there was a guy on here who said that ocuk gave to take it back under dsr but the email I got with the rma details mentioned in it that even goods returned under dsr are checked, so ocuk could try to wriggle out of it by claiming you caused the damage.

I tried my old 8800 gt in it. Still got nothing. I didnt touch the ram or the cpu. One moment its been working fine for about 2 weeks, then suddenly it blows.

I cant see how the pins got bent at all.

It litterally happened at the beginning of skyrim. I was at a lan party round my friends, and we had about 7 pcs plugged in. Perhaps it couldnt get enough power? and something just went.

The mobo still runs the fans and everything, but i just get nothing on screen, most of the time. Other times it will get to the windows loading bar, then restart itself, only to leave me with nothing again.
Other times it boots up, fans start going, for about 2 secs, turns itself off, then on for 2 secs, then off, then boots into a blank screen.
So, sometimes i get a display, other times not, but always i cannot get past a certain point of loading. I had 2 hdd in that pc, the new one, and an old one. The new on i put into my old computer, and it got a blue screen, hit the same point of the loading screen, and blue screened me. The old hdd worked fine, and this old one, I had in my new build for the first 3 days, so i now it works with the new build. But after skyrim, it now worky.

It worked for a week, with no probs and playing bf3.
I have not touched anything inside since building it. I have swapped gfx cards, put in my 8800 gt, still got nothing.

The HDD is dead, my new one anyway. I had a new and an old one in there, the old one works fine in my old computer, but the new one i still get the blue dump screen.

I have 4 sticks of 4gb in there, the vengeance ones.

I sent it off to OCUK, hopefully they will help me out.

I had 2 HD's, a new one and one of my old ones. They both worked with the new build, and my old hd worked in my old build also.

After the incident, the old hd still worked in my old pc, but the new one got a Blue screen still, it got to a system restore procedure, which i did twice, and both times it blue screened. I put my old hd, as the main drive in the new build, still nothing. As it happens OCUK have sent me a new one.

I havent touched the cpu or ram, so i cannot imagine how the pins got damaged, it had worked fine for a week, then suddenly it popped.

I put my 8800 gt in the new build, and this gfx works, and still got the same thing. So not a gfx thing. Sometimes it boots to the bar for windows loading, but only until that point, if it boots at all. So, surely not cpu or ram if it does boot, if only to a limited extent.

I get no response from the usb for my mouse, the light doesnt come on, not at all.
